We’re home from another wonderful trip to Alaska. Thanks to all of you who “traveled” along with us. This was our 4th RV drive to Alaska as a part of the Spring Adventure Package. We discovered some new places as we drove 4,775 miles from Iowa to Canada to Alaska. I can’t overstate the beauty of the trip. The seemingly endless views of mountains, glaciers, rivers, lakes, clouds, green fields with amazing animals, domestic and wild. For the last post for this trip, I’ve chosen pictures of ubiquitous Alaska sights. Will we do the drive again? You never know!

We left Wrangell - St. Elias National Park after an interesting tour of the old Kennicott Copper Mill. We walked the 5 miles back to McCarthy to pick up our shuttle to Chitina and our RV. We spent Friday night at the Kennicott Glacier Lodge, enjoying a delicious dinner on the balcony. The mill operated from 1908 until 1938. The partially restored company town was worth the effort to get there. Tonight, we are in Palmer, just outside Anchorage. We turn in the RV in the morning.
