Our first excursion of the day was a short hike at Portal Point. The sun was bright and the air warm as we enjoyed beautiful views, sightings of whales and a close up of a Wendell seal. Our Zodiac cruise in the afternoon took us around Enterprise Island. The clouds moved in and it started to snow as we counted more Wendell seals and watched more humpback whale activity. We arrived back at the ship cold and splashed by frigid water. Thank goodness for  waterproof  clothing. The scenery is beautiful, a pallet of greys and blues.
