We spent yesterday morning visiting some amazing tombs in the Valley of the Kings. The hillsides have so many tombs of Egyptian nobles. We visited the tomb of Seti the First and King Tutankhamen and others. Many sights are not open to the public; some are still being cleaned and restored. Chances are that many remain undiscovered.

In the afternoon, we began our travel upstream on the Nile with a journey through a lock.

Just before the lock, we were visited by a few of Egypt's aggressive vendors who pulled alongside and tried to sell their wares to u on the
Aton.
