We finished a wonderful 4 day walk on Maria Island. The beaches are clean and beautiful.

We spent two of our three nights in bush camps. It wasn’t much of a hardship; we had warm showers (3 minutes long), delicious food and wine.

We enjoyed seeing some of the unusual wildlife such as this Wambat.

The island has ruins from its days as a convict station.

And the trees are beautiful too.
