Today was a lovely day at and near Lake Louise. The mountains still have quite a bit of snow on them, and we still have some low clouds -

The highway here is Canada 1, the Trans-Canada Highway. There is a game fence all along the highway. At intervals, there are game crossing overpasses.

We drove up to Lake Louise hoping to hike around the lake, but there is still to much snow.

When the weather warms a bit, here is where Gary would be staying -

We stopped at the Visitor Center on our way back through the village. Here is Norman being lightly dusted by snow -

We drove back toward Canmore where we are staying along Route 1A and hiked to the waterfalls of Johnston Canyon.

On the way back to Canmore, the sun came out for a while.

Tomorrow we'll head to Jasper along the Icefields Parkway. We may be off the grid for a few days, but I'll report when I can.
