The drive from Fort Nelson turns toward the west. The day is beautifully clear and a perfect temperature. As we drive west, we have beautiful views of the Canadian Rockies.

We saw a bear early in the day but missed getting his picture. We did manage a photo of this caribou -
When we went over Summit Pass the valley was green and magnificent.
Muncho Lake still has an almost complete layer of turquoise ice -
Norman stands at the lake edge as the camera and I look north -
