Well, we are on the road! We arrived in Wakarusa, Indiana yesterday at 10:30 pm. The trip from O'Hare which should have taken 2.5 hours took 5 hours. Admittedly, the traffic was bad (there was an accident on I-294), but the biggest problem was that the charter bus driver got lost - 2 times (I'm being kind). Oh well, all's well that ends well.

Here is the line-up of the departing RVs early this morning -

And here is our route for the day:

The last map picture isn't very good, but we are in Wisconsin Dells, some 330 miles down the road. And I have to admit that Norman drove all day (I will drive some tomorrow - promise). At our KOA Campground, there are 6 RVs that left with us this morning. Folks are taking different routes and different numbers of days (a range of 7 days to 6 weeks is what I've heard).

Along the way, we passed a site Jim and Gary have been eager to see, what some people refer to as the 6th Great Lake, Lake Wisconsin -

This is the far northern end of Lake Wisconsin.

Norman beside our home for the next 3 weeks.

Tomorrow it's on to Minnesota and North Dakota.
