Today's drive began with us retracing our route along the boundary of Glacier National Park to Browning. From Browning, we headed north and crossed the Canadian border at Carway. From Carway we headed to Waterton Lakes National Park.

This part of Alberta is green and beautiful.

Before long, the mountains peek into view.

On our trip to the village inside the park, this guy was so still we thought he was a statue.

We took a short hike along Red Rock Canyon.

And then a hike to Blakiston Falls. It is cold and rainy.

Here's where Gary would be spending the night!

More Waterton tomorrow.
