At last, a sunny day!

 

As we drove NW on the Yellowhead Highway, the mountains came into view.

 

The closer we got to New Hazelton, the more beautiful the views of the mountains.

 

We also enjoyed  the many Dandelions blooming along the roadway and in the roadside pastures.

 

Once we were settled in the 'Ksai RV Campground, we walked the short distance to the 'Ksai Historic Village. This is the Bulkley River beside the village.

 

and looking back at the village, a reconstructed Gitxsan village of traditional style buildings.

 

 

This totem pole is at the entrance.

 

 

Norman is standing beside the Skeena River near where it is joined by the Bulkley.
