We wondered if we would get out of Houston with all the rain! We had very smooth flight to Minneapolis. Here is Norman as we wait for the chartered bus along with a lot of other adventurous folks:

This is night number 2. L:ast night we spent the night in our RV in the at Forest City, Iowa in a huge fairground camping lot just across the road from the Winnebago factory. Here is our home for the next 3 weeks:

As you can see, there was a large group of RV in this Great Alaskan herd:

 

This morning we got organized, got the ignition key and headed off. We found a place for everything even after a trip to the grocery store:

We had a lot of rain on today's drive, but we are in for the night. We are just outside Mitchell, South Dakota. There are three other Great Alaskan RVs here as we spread out and head northwest.
