No great sunset, but here is a picture from  our beach camping spot:

 
After a breakfast of pancakes, we drove a short way to Perpetua Cove (Captain Cook arrived here on St. Perpetua's Day) for a hike along the beach. The forest is lush with many ferns and flowering plants. Here are some pictures of flowers and plants:
 






Looks like pencil cactus with bristles.

These leaves are HUGE - 2 feet long!


 
Much of the time, we were in the forest adjacent to the beach and couldn't see out. From time to time, we got stunning views of the beach below:
 




 
The drive north is lovely but slow. Finally, we glimpsed the Washington Cascades in the distance:
 
 
When we crossed the Columbia River Bridge, we arrived in Washington.
