Day 10 – Saturday, May 21, 2022

We had a beautiful day to drive to Grand Prairie. 

We made a grocery run, and Norman grilled chicken for dinner. I added mac & cheese and a salad. The big news of the day is that the slide has a real problem now. When we put it out this evening, the awning that covers the top pulled away from one end. The technician told us that it would still be fairly waterproof. Tonight is dry, and the forecast for tomorrow is the same. We have decided that, after we retract the slide tomorrow morning, we’ll use the other sleeping options. The is a bed above the cab, and the dinette converts to a bed. A bit inconvenient, but workable. Great Alaskan calls this the “Spring Adventure Package”. This year has had plenty of adventure!
