We spent our first night at the Albert Lea, Minnesota KOA. It was a long day for us – an early flight to Minneapolis, a charter bus (running late) to Forest City, Iowa, another hour or so to check out everything on the RV, a shopping trip for groceries and other necessary supplies. It’s always an adventure of its own to find a place for everything in the confined space of the RV, even before we unpack our suitcases! We ate our dinner at 8:30. We watched the lightening off in the distance as we fell asleep reading. We are happy to report that the severe thunderstorms passed us by.
