Today was a day of train travel from Milngavie to Malten. It rained off and on, but the countryside was beautiful. Alas, the trains were too fast for photos as we went.

From Malten to Helmsley was a taxi ride through the rolling hills of Yorkshire. Tonight we are in Helmsley at the Red Roofs B&B. -

 

 

We walked  a few minutes to the Helmsley town square for dinner at The Feathers -

 

The food was delicious and just what we needed before returning to our room to study tomorrow's route.
