We are far enough north that we have very little true darkness. Here is a picture taken about 9:30 last night as we took a final stroll around the RV park before turning in:

 

The drive to Prince Rupert started out with nice bright sky. We followed the Skeena River, swollen from snow melt.

 

Before long, the clouds began to gather over the mountains.

 

 

And then the rain began again. Here is another view along the Skeena.

 

After vetoing the first RV park, we found one in the city of Prince Rupert. The rain stopped after lunch so we were able to have a walk around town. As you see, the clouds never lifted.

 

I know some of you won't be reading this until Friday, and that is Kate's birthday! Kate Musica is our wonderful daughter-in-law. Happy birthday! We love you.
