Day 11 – Sunday, May 22, 2022
This morning we retracted the slide for the last time – at least the last time for us. Our new bed will be over the cab of the RV.
We bought gas
as we left Alberta because we’d been told that the gas in British Colombia is
much more expensive (that is correct). For those of you who are horrified at
spending $4.00 for a gallon of gas, I have included a picture of the Alberta
gas prices this morning. My understanding is that the prices are set in each province
so you can just buy your favorite brand and know that the price is the same. By
the way, the prices shown are for a liter of gas. Of course, the prices are in Canadian
dollars.
On the road northwest, we could see snow capped mountains
off to the southwest! Note the beautiful clear blue skies.
This afternoon we played 9 holes of golf at the Farmington
Fairways where we are camped. More about that tomorrow. We head on up the
Alaska Highway tomorrow.

That bed looks a little claustrophobic to me! - Kate
